An update is long over due!!! Things are going well at Upward Bound. After a busy fall semester, and January, we are happy to announce that we are done recruiting students to replace those who graduated in Spring 2013 and we are excited to get to know our new recruitment class. As of now, all of our slots are filled and we are completing orientations so that our new batch of students can start on February 8th.

Along with recruitment, Upward Bound also attended the 16th Annual Wanda Hendricks-Bellamy Student Leadership Conference, January 10-12. Our students had a great time as they learned necessary leadership skills and networked with other students from across South Carolina. The conference included a hospitality and wellness event, workshops, a fashion show, banquet, dance and awards ceremony. A video of pictures from the event can be seen here.
